Digital Marketing Manager

Pure Fishing is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking digital marketing professional that is passionate about driving positive results. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to shape the strategy and execution of Pure Fishing’s rapidly growing digital marketing efforts that are aimed at growth in traffic and new customer acquisition. The ideal person for this position is one with an entrepreneurial nature that is not satisfied at the end of the day by simply maintaining the status quo. S/he has a proven track record of leveraging data-driven decisions and will keep a vigilant eye on the competitive landscape to find opportunities to drive brand awareness, site traffic, and acquisition in new and innovative ways. This person will continually try new things and not be afraid to fail and learn from mistakes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities include managing the digital marketing channel, fostering existing vendor relationships, on-boarding new vendors, and recommending and ensuring the successful adoption of new technologies. Specifically, the successful individual will:

Drive the company’s overall digital marketing efforts, partnering closely with business owners to bring a strategic marketing point of view to driving ideation, testing, and learning in the service of business growth.

Oversee digital marketing programs including SEM/SEO, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, Email Marketing, and Programtically-driven targeted campaigns

Develop and own reporting on the effectiveness of all digital marketing channels against sales, margin, and acquisition targets

Exist within a test-and-learn culture that continually tries, measures, and analyzes results of new things

Manage all vendor relationships associated with digital marketing programs

Identify promotional opportunities that can drive profitable sales and/or accelerated customer acquisition

Stay on top of industry best practices with an eye for relevant tactics that can be adopted to drive results for the Pure Fishing brands

Ensure digital marketing team is effectively integrated and collaborating with cross-functional partners in the brand marketing, finance, technology, fulfillment, and customer service

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field.

5+ years of direct and hands-on digital marketing and e-commerce experience with at least 3 years working in retail and/or direct-to-consumer organizations

Advanced Google Analytics and AdWords skills

Deep understanding of tag management platforms

Experience with CRM and DMP platforms.
